ORANGE BELT TESTED....

AND MOTHER APPROVED!!!!!

today john was tested for his orange belt in tae kwon do. as part of the belt testing the students usually have to break a board. the boards are usually about 1/2" but today all the older kids were required to break an adult size board, about 1" thick, with some sort of kick. john was required to break it with an axe kick. i think this is the hardest kick to break a board. it's at least the kick that john has the hardest time. but he did it. :)

now she has moved onto dancing. this girl cannot wait until november when she gets to take dance. i am personally excited cause i still remember my first day of ballet.

fickle creek farm/playnation

yesterday we went to an organic farm with john's kinder class. when i say organic i mean ORGANIC!!!! i don't even know how to explain it. let's just say it was very interesting. but A LOT of fun for the kids!!!!

after the farm we meet up with a few friends for a playdate. it was a long yet wonderful day. : )

also, i added a few extra photos for you all to check out.

last day of kindergarten pics are still being worked on. they will be posted in a day or 2. or when i have a free moment to work on them. : )

also, the tour guide tracked the kids through a poison ivy patch. thank goodness for rubber boots
